The winter holidays are just around the corner, and that means time to spend with our dear little ones. Some are lucky enough to have the whole week off, while others only have the weekend. Some will go on holiday, either abroad or perhaps to a summer house, while others simply stay home for their break. Regardless, it offers quality time with the family, and we have therefore put together some ideas for what to do during the holidays
“The Great Bake Off”
A timeless success is baking. It doesn’t require much (… apart from a trip to the supermarket if you don’t have everything in your kitchen cupboards already) and is super cozy. Dr. Oetker has some really fun and easy recipes that you can find right here. By the way, remember to take your worries in advance with an apron!
Bring out your inner child!
Play! Of course, it should be all about play during the holidays – nothing less! But how about challenging both yourself and your child at the same time? 4M creates the coolest science playsets designed to enhance curiosity and the desire to explore the world.

Get outside!
Sure, it’s cold, but a trip outdoors is always beneficial – and as they say; there is no bad weather, only bad clothing. So get on your coat and mittens!

Let your inner water dog loose!
Exercise is good – and fun! And a trip to a water park or swimming pool would be fantastic in the cold and dreary weather. So find your swimwear and unleash your inner water dog!

Give the children's room a makeover!
It sounds extensive and time-consuming, but it doesn’t have to be in any way. It can be the small things that make a difference, and your child will love being allowed to put their stamp on the room and, not least, just being allowed to help. So make it a cozy activity you can tinker with during the holidays – for example, you could create a cozy fort in the corner?
