Getting the child to sleep well
It can be really difficult to get your child to sleep well. There can be several reasons for this. An important and often overlooked reason why the child does not sleep optimally is the arrangement of the bed. If the bed is not nice and inviting, you won't get the child to sleep in it. Therefore, some baby bedding would be really good with a matching bed bumper. If these basic things are in order, you will get the baby to sleep - and which parent doesn't want that?
Here on the site, you will find lovely baby bedding that is both soft and has a lovely sweet motif that both mother and child will love dearly. Much of our baby bedding is also available for adults, allowing mother and child to have matching bedding! Cool, right?
Here on the site, you can find plenty of beautiful baby bedding for both big and small children. We have a large selection of strong brands, and our selection consists of colorful designs, delicious patterns, and fine neutral sets. You can also find bedding sets in adult sizes, so both parents' and children's bedding match each other.
We place a high value on good quality, so you are always assured of a good experience with the bedding you buy from us.
What should you look for?
When you are looking for baby bedding, your choices will of course depend somewhat on whether you have any preferences in advance. Perhaps you prefer organic baby bedding or bedding from a specific brand, such as Cam Cam baby bedding. It may also be that you just want cheap baby bedding or baby bedding with a name. Or perhaps you simply prefer white baby bedding over a colored bedding set. Regardless of your preferences, you will be able to find something here on the site that is exactly what you are looking for.
When you are on the hunt for baby bedding, you should be aware that the bedding varies in size depending on how old your child is. In the first couple of years of your child's life, he or she will sleep with a baby duvet. The dimensions for these are quite standard, namely baby bedding 70 x 100. After that, it depends a lot on your child's size and which bed your child sleeps in, but the starting point is that you should switch to a junior duvet when your child is 8-12 months old.
How many sets of baby bedding should you have?
The number of bedding sets for your baby depends a lot on need. Many parents choose to have two duvets – one for the stroller and one for the bed at home. The number of bedding sets can thus theoretically be limited to two sets, but this requires that you wash quite often. Instead, you should have at least 3-4 baby bedding sets, so you have something to change with, and you don't have to wash bedding constantly.
However, it can be difficult to limit yourself to only 3-4 sets when we have so many beautiful baby bedding sets to choose from. Feel free to choose between different colors and patterns, so it feels a bit extra nice every time you change the bedding.
Do you need baby pillowcases?
There aren't many babies who sleep with a pillow, and it's actually not particularly recommended either. However, you will still receive et pillowcases with the purchase of baby bedding from us. Save them for when the child gets a little bigger, as they fit nicely in a junior size. You can also be creative with the pillowcase and use it to sew clothes for your baby or other nice things. It also works well as a pillowcase for the doll's or teddy bear's pillow.
How often should you change baby bedding?
You should change the baby bedding at the same intervals as you change your own bedding, which is typically every 14 days. However, for many babies, it may be relevant to change more frequently if the child, for example, has vomited or had an accident in the diaper. Aside from these scenarios, there is no reason to change more often than every 14 days.
How do you best preserve the color of baby bedding?
Baby bedding is often quite colorful or patterned. This is naturally because colors and patterns are really good at stimulating the baby's sight and senses, but it is also super nice and decorative to look at. Moreover, many parents like to buy baby bedding for boys or baby bedding for girls, where the colors are kept in traditional light blue or light pink.
However, this also means that many washes cause the bedding to fade and become a really sad color. Here, you can follow some of the good, old, traditional household tips to keep the colors intact even after many washes.
For example, soak the baby bedding in a bucket of cold water and vinegar overnight before washing. This binds the color to the fabric, so the color is preserved. If you're in a hurry, you can alternatively just add a bit of vinegar to the washing machine before you start the wash. The vinegar should be poured into the compartment you would normally use for fabric softener.
Also, remember to turn the bedding inside out and close the buttons or zipper – this way, you won't wear out the colors and patterns as much. And you should always wash at 60 degrees, so it gets properly clean and all bacteria disappear.

What does baby bedding cost?
It is possible to find baby bedding in all price ranges, but there are really good opportunities to find baby bedding on sale. You can advantageously look for baby bedding on offer during times of the year when there are usually good deals, including January as well as baby bedding offers during the summer and in November.
You can definitely find cheap baby bedding, but if you want, for example, organic baby bedding, you should be prepared to pay a little more. The same goes if you are only looking for brand-name baby bedding.
Make your own baby bedding
You don't need to be the creative type to sew your own baby bedding, but it can be a good idea to have et extra purchased bedding sets on hand, just in case something goes wrong. First and foremost, you should go to your local fabric store and find nice fabric for baby bedding. Consult with the staff there so you come home with the right fabric.
It should be able to withstand being washed at high temperatures, so you should typically go for cotton. Apart from that, there is relatively free choice regarding colors and patterns. It is quite easy to sew the bedding yourself, as long as you stick to the measurements that fit both the bed and the stroller. It is just a et rectangular piece of fabric that needs to be sewn together, and you will thus quickly have et a nice bedding set for the baby. The only thing that can be a bit challenging is getting a zipper sewn in. However, you can instead choose to attach buttons to the bedding set – it's easier to work with.
