A cookie is a term for the fact that a user's behavior on a network is recorded on the user's own device (on the user's hard drive). You can set your browser to inform you when you receive a cookie, or you can disable cookies altogether. The only purpose of these cookies is to recognize your computer.

Technically, cookies can be divided into two types. One type is called "session cookies" – they keep track of what you have added to your shopping cart while you navigate around the online store. "Session cookies" are not stored on your computer but disappear when you close the browser.

The other type of cookie is called a "permanent cookie," and it is stored as a text file on your computer for about a month. A "permanent cookie" helps our server recognize your computer the next time you log in to our website.
