The story behind

In 2012, following the birth of their daughter, the Danish architect couple Sara Giese Camre and Robert Warren Paulsen struggled to find children's products that met their needs while radiating timeless Scandinavian design. Frustrated by the products they could find on the market, Sara decided to design them herself. Cam Cam Copenhagen was born! Focus on the needs of both parents and children. The selection includes Scandinavian styles, practical features and traditional details.

The overall design focus is sustainability, with a focus on organic production and enduring design and material quality that will be appreciated by generations to come.

Combined with their background knowledge and sustainable production methods, it is difficult not to fall in love with their designs. They aim to support little ones' development, creativity and well-being and bring beauty to everyday life, as well as create products that will last for generations to come. Committed to meeting the requirements of GOTS, every piece of furniture has been lovingly crafted using only FSC-certified wood and finished with VOC-free paint.

They continue to ensure healthy working conditions and wages for their employees and use renewable energy sources whenever possible. By supporting a range of charitable organisations, including UNICEF, Røde Kors and Mødrehjælpen (to name just a few), Cam Cam Copenhagen helps improve children's well-being around the world.
