For some, the playpen may seem almost like a punishment for the child. But it is far from that – in fact, quite the opposite. The playpen gives your child a safe and calm space, free from curious siblings and pets.
The base of the Hoppekids IDA-MARIE can be raised and adjusted to three different heights. In addition to protecting your back from awkward lifting, it also allows your child to follow the world around them a little. Use the highest setting when the child is very young, and then lower the base as he or she grows bigger and stronger.
The IDA-MARIE playpen is surface-treated with environmentally friendly, water-based lacquer. The lacquer is free from unnecessary and harmful substances.
A Hoppekids playpen mattress can be purchased for the IDA-MARIE playpen. The mattress comes including a cotton cover. The mattress itself has a layer of foam and a layer of flax felt. Flax felt is a natural material that helps protect against draughts and cold, while providing a soft and comfortable base for the playpen. You can also use a play mat and decorate the playpen with cosy items.
