Head/tail bowl

A head/tail bowl is a wash basin for babies with two separate compartments, one for washing the head and one for washing the bottom/“tail”. A head/tail bowl is more hygienic than having just one wash basin. You simply need to remember to use the two separate compartments and not just one, or accidentally mix the two compartments together. This can be difficult to remember when you are in a hurry. Therefore, it may be a good idea to put a small mark or draw a dot with a permanent marker by one compartment, so you can quickly see which compartment is for what.

A head/tail bowl is most beneficial when you do not have a sink near your changing table, as you can then have water ready for both the face and bottom. This is not a problem if you have a tap nearby.

You can choose the very simple one with just two separate compartments, or find a head/tail bowl that also has space for storing soap. As such, it is not necessary to have many different functions in a head/tail bowl. The most important thing is that there are two compartments that separate the water. A head/tail bowl is therefore also a smart idea for the small bathroom where the changing table cannot fit, but it is also good if you are visiting someone and do not know the washing facilities. Head/tail bowls are available in different price ranges, but they certainly will not ruin the budget.
