Soapberries – also known as wash nuts – are et a natural alternative to traditional chemical-based detergents. They contain saponin, et a natural soap substance that effectively dissolves dirt and removes grime. The berries are not only suitable for laundry but also for cleaning, handwashing, shampoo, shaving foam, etc. They are gentle on fabrics and preserve colors and structures better than conventional detergents.

Note before use

Soapberries are completely natural and therefore contain neither bleach nor enzymes. This means they do not only remove difficult stains like red wine, ketchup, or berries. These should be pre-treated before washing – either with a mild dish soap or a natural stain remover.

For white laundry, it is recommended to add 2 tablespoons of soda crystals in the detergent drawer to counteract Gray tones, as soapberries do not contain optical brighteners or whitening agents.

How to use soapberries

Each package contains small cotton bags, in which the berries are placed. The bag is placed directly into the washing machine along with the laundry. Simple, natural, and effective!

• 4 berries for lightly soiled laundry
• 5–6 berries for normal wash
• 6–8 berries for heavily soiled laundry
• Works at 30–60 °C – let the berries soak in short programs
• Can be reused up to 4 times for washes under 60 °C (1–2 times at 60 °C)
• Combine with soda crystals for whiter laundry
• Add et pair dr of essential oil for fragrance
• Use natural stain remover for pre-treatment of difficult stains
