The Kid'oh starter isofix car seat is essentially an "extended" booster seat with backrest for slightly older children. The seat is installed with isofix and used with the car's seat belt to secure the child. The model is used from approx. 15 kg to 36 kg (4 years to Approx. 12 years). The cover can be hand-washed.

What is isofix?

Isofix, or ISOFIX, is an international standard for the safety points used to install a child's car seat. A car seat with Isofix installation is "clicked" into place and is therefore connected to the car seat. This means that safety during the installation of the car seat is increased. As the car seat is clicked into place, it also ensures that the car seat does not move.

Isofix is the two fittings located between the seats in the car and Mounted directly onto the car's bodywork. Using the Isofix fittings ensures both easy and quick installation of the car seat and means that you do not need to use the car's seat belts to install the car seat. With the Isofix "click function", the car seat is installed with a safe and secure connection, and you cannot fail to both see and hear if the car seat has been installed incorrectly.
