Kid'oh the starter isofix car seat is essentially an "enhanced" booster seat for slightly larger children with back support. The seat is mounted with isofix and used with the car's seatbelt to secure the child, the model is used from approximately 15 kg to 36 kg (4 years to about 12 years). The cover can be hand washed.

What is isofix?

Isofix, or ISOFIX, is an international standard for the safety points for mounting the child's car seat. A car seat with Isofix mounting is "clicked" into place and thus connected to the car's seat. This means that the safety of the installation of the car seat is increased. Since the car seat is clicked into place, it also ensures that the car seat does not move.

Isofix is the two brackets located between the seats in the car and are mounted directly on the car's body. The use of Isofix brackets ensures you both an easy and quick installation of the car seat and means that you do not have to use the car's seatbelts for the installation of the car seat. With the Isofix "click function", the car seat is mounted on a safe and solid connection, and you cannot avoid both seeing and hearing if the car seat is installed incorrectly.
