The baby hammock imitates the parents’ secure embrace and gentle movements and moulds around the child’s body. The baby hammock, also called a hanging cradle or spring cradle, gives your baby a secure and comfortable feeling. It is perfect for restless babies or babies who take relatively short naps. You can place it almost wherever you want, and you can even take it to grandparents, friends or your mothers’ group – provided you have the right accessories. If you combine the cradle with our cradle motor, you can also keep your hands free while your baby has a good nap.

If mum’s or dad’s arms become too heavy, the baby hammock is the best alternative when baby needs to settle down. Most babies love being held close and rocked to sleep. Most parents need a helping hand at some point if they need a little rest themselves, a much-needed hair wash or time and peace to prepare a meal at the same time as the rest of the family.

The Basic baby hammock is soft and comfortable, made of 100% organic cotton, and comes with a mattress with polyester filling, an organic cotton sheet and a spring. The baby hammock also comes with a locking carabiner, so you can attach the baby hammock directly to the included spring. The carabiner is insulated with rubber to protect against any metal splinters.

Install your motor and baby hammock as stated in the included manual.

Place an object in the cradle that corresponds to your baby’s weight.

Now stretch the spring as far as possible by pulling the spring downwards until the spring’s safety strap is fully extended. When the safety strap is fully extended, there must be sufficient space between the floor and the ceiling so that the cradle does not touch the floor. Check this regularly.

We recommend hand-washing your baby hammock at 30 degrees. The mattress can be machine-washed at max. 30 degrees.
