Varenummer: OHN-SE-1003Oh’Naturel pillow 40×45 cm - 100% organic cotton & kapok
Give your little one a calm, dry and comfortable sleep with a pillow that combines soft luxury with natural materials.
The Oh’Naturel pillow is sewn in 100% organic cotton and filled with kapok – the silky-soft plant fibre known for being lightweight, temperature-regulating, allergy-friendly and naturally resistant to moisture. The result is a pillow that feels airy on warm nights and warm on cool mornings, so your child has stable sleeping conditions all year round.
The elegant piping edge gives a clean, timeless look and reinforces the seam along the edge, so the pillow retains its shape beautifully – even after repeated use. Please note, however, that kapok is not a filling with 'fluffiness', so the pillow may appear flatter than a classic down or fibre pillow.
Why kapok?
* Naturally lightweight and airy: The kapok fibre contains small air pockets, making the pillow exceptionally lightweight.
* Temperature-regulating comfort: The air-filled fibres help balance heat and cold, giving your child a more even sleeping climate.
* Dries quickly and wicks away moisture: Kapok absorbs minimal moisture and therefore feels drier against the skin.
* Naturally hygienic choice: The smooth, wax-coated fibre structure makes it less attractive for dust and dirt to adhere to the fibre, contributing to a fresher sleeping environment.
Design & details that make a difference
* Piping edge all the way around for a neat finish and increased edge strength.
* Lightweight and airy feel.
* Breathable construction helps reduce overheating and moisture.
* timeless Nordic Look that matches most baby equipment and bedding.

Washing and care instructions
Always follow the washing instructions on the label.
Below you will find general guidelines for kapok duvets, so the filling retains its lightness and the duvet stays fresh.
For daily care (usually recommended instead of washing):
* Shake the pillow gently and air it regularly in dry, fresh air.
* Avoid damp rooms – kapok thrives best in dry conditions.
* Always use a cover and change it often; this reduces the need for washing.
When washing is necessary:
1. Preparation
* Check the seams.
* Use a mild, gentle detergent (without bleach, enzymes or perfume).
* No fabric softener – it can coat the fibres and inhibit breathability.
2. Wash cycle
* Gentle cycle 30–40°C.
* Gentle spin cycle (max 800 rpm).
* Wash the pillow alone or with a few lightweight textiles to allow room in the drum.
3. Drying (very important)
* MUST be tumble dried. Use low to moderate heat together with 2–3 dryer balls/tennis balls, which help distribute the filling.
* Remove the pillow at intervals, shake and turn it, then continue drying. Several cycles may be required.
* The pillow must be completely bone dry before use/being stored in a cupboard. Moisture in kapok can cause odour and flatter filling.
4. Finishing
* Lay the pillow flat and allow it to finish drying/cool down in a dry room.
* Shake gently to distribute the filling evenly.
* Put on a clean cover.
Avoid:
* Bleach, fabric softener and stain removers with solvents.
* Prolonged soaking.
* High heat in the tumble dryer or ironing.
* Cleaning (dry cleaning) and steam cleaning.
Tip! If the pillow has merely lost volume, thorough airing and tumbling with dryer balls without heat is often enough to “puff” the kapok fibres up again – completely without washing.
