The lid is incredibly easy to twist off and seals completely tight - no drips in the school bag. The bottle is easy to clean and is dishwasher safe.
There is a small gasket in the lid that is easy to remove and clean if you find it necessary.

The bottle is dishwasher safe, but we recommend regular hand washing. Please be aware that all steel, including stainless steel, can develop rust spots if placed in the dishwasher. See this good article from Samvirke. Not suitable for microwave.
