Are you on the hunt for a diaper bag – we have gathered the 10 best tips we wish we had before we bought a diaper bag ourselves. Feel free to add good tips in the comments if there is something we have forgotten.
1. Remember that both of you should be able to use it
The diaper bag shouldn't be screaming pink if you expect dad to take 3 months of paternity leave 🙂 Find out if it’s a shared bag or if you each have your own diaper bag.
2. Choose a bag you can also use after parental leave
It's a waste of money to have a bag only for the parental period. Fortunately, most diaper bag designers have figured this out.

3. Can it hang on the stroller
You will get tired of having the bag hanging over your shoulder all the time, so make sure to find a bag that can hang on the handlebars or buy a gadget that ensures it can.

4. How can it be washed
No matter how nice and pretty a bag you buy, it will get dirty; baby food/milk/whatever will get on it…
Make sure the bag can be washed (easily) so you don't have to throw it out due to an accident
5. Make sure there are many compartments
A diaper bag with many compartments makes it easy to keep track – instead of the classic bag where everything is cluttered, the compartments provide easy overview. And not least quick access when you need it NOW… which is not an unlikely situation with a little bundle of joy 🙂
