Wheely Bug in 2 sizes
The Wheely Bug comes in 2 sizes. There is a small model which measures 36cm x 23cm x 20cm, depending on which model you have chosen. The small model is recommended for children aged 1-3 years. The large model has dimensions of 46cm x 28cm x 26cm and is suitable and recommended for children aged 3 years and up. Let the child race around on the classic Wheelybug ride-on toy. The quality of them is impressive, which means that you as an adult can also sit on it without it breaking. It can actually withstand a total load of up to 120 kg.
However, be aware that the Wheelybug is not recommended to be used as a tool for learning to walk. The Wheelybug can turn in all conceivable directions and is therefore quite difficult for the child to lean on when they are taking their first steps or just trying to stand up. If you want something for the child that can support them in walking, we recommend that you take a look at our ride-ons, as these are designed to help the child stand up and take their first steps. Once the child can walk, the Wheelybug is a great toy to strengthen gross motor skills and provide many hours of fun play.
How much can the Wheely Bug hold?
The maximum recommended rider weight is 25 kg; however, each wheel is rated for 30 kg, which gives a total working load of 120 kg!! Adults can easily take a ride on them or use them as a 'mobile chair' when parents need to sit and talk with the child in the children's room.
Can it be used outdoors?
Any smooth, flat surface is suitable. But keep them away from dirt or sand, as sand and dirt can get into the wheels and thereby damage them. Also, do not leave the toy outside in the rain or direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can damage the surfaces.
