Safety gates & stair gates

Has your little one started crawling or walking? Although it is wonderful to watch your little one race around the home, the experience can also involve quite a lot of worry. Especially if, for example, the fireplace or stairs have not been secured with a gate. At Mammashop, we have several different safety gates, so we are guaranteed to have a solution that suits your home. Choose from several different ranges of safety gates, and feel free to use our guide at the bottom of the page to find out which childproofing products you need in your home.

The safety gates

Make your home childproof with a stair gate. Children are born curious and love exploring wherever they can. As soon as your child has learned to move around, they will undoubtedly explore the home. Stairs and wood-burning stoves are two places that pose a major safety risk. But you can easily stay ahead of safety by installing a stair gate in the places that constitute a danger zone. That way, your baby can explore without you having to worry.

At Mammashop, we have several ranges of safety gates. Overall, we have pressure-mounted gates, wall-mounted gates and gates in the Flex Range. The pressure-mounted gates and the Gates from the Flex range can be extended by adding extension sections associated with the ranges.

Safety

It is your responsibility as parents to protect your child from any potential danger zones in the home. When it comes to securing stairs and areas with access to high heat, such as wood-burning stoves, a stair gate or a safety gate is a good solution. A stair gate can be adjusted to fit the individual area and thereby increases safety in your home.

What type of gate should we choose?

There are different models with different methods for installing the gate. Some are screwed to the wall or door frame, while other models are pressure-mounted – hence the name pressure-mounted gate. With a pressure-mounted gate, you avoid marks and holes in the frame or wall. This type of gate is best suited for the bottom of a staircase and in front of doors to, for example, the kitchen and utility room. On the other hand, the models that are screwed to the door frame or wall are perfect for the top of the stairs and other protection of various rooms.

Quality

At Mammashop, we believe that high quality and good safety go hand in hand when it comes to stair gates. A high-quality stair gate creates the right conditions for safety in your home, so both your baby and you can move around safely. Therefore, Mammashop has not compromised in its selection of stair gates. The stair gates in the webshop are of high quality and meet the new standards.

Pressure-mounted gates

Our range of pressure-mounted gates includes: Two-Way Auto Close, Premier, Danamic and Gate ToGo. Here, you can extend with Extend-A-Gate extension sections which, with the exception of Gate ToGo, fit the gates. The Extend-A-Gate extensions are 7 cm wide and can be purchased individually or in a pack of 2 pcs. For the stability of the gates, we recommend that you do not exceed the number of extensions mentioned below:

Two-Way Auto Close: Max. 2 Extend-A-Gate extensions

Premier: Max. 6 Extend-A-Gate extensions

Danamic: Max 3 Extend-A-Gate extensions.

Wall-mounted gates

The wall-mounted gates are the classic safety gates that we all know. Our range of wall-mounted gates consists of: Multidan, Flexi Fit and Guard Me. With the exception of Guard Me, the gates cannot be extended. They are securely mounted to the wall around, for Example, stairs and are easy to remove. The Guard Me solution can be extended by up to 24 cm if you add an Extend-A-Guard. We recommend that you only extend with one Extend-A-Guard to ensure the stability of the gate.

Flex gates and park-a-kid

The Flex range is our most popular solution, as you have plenty of options to adapt the gate to your specific needs. The Flex range includes Flex M, Flex L, Flex XL Pejsegitter and Park-A-Kid. All models are wall-mounted and stable enough to be extended with the number of sections you need. The Flex gates can also be connected to the Park-A-Kid playpen, so you can design your own safety solution. Flex extensions are available in two lengths: 33 cm and 72 cm. You can also add an extra door section of 72 cm.
