The materials the products are made from are natural and organic natural fiber, 100% biodegradable and recyclable fiber made from the natural surplus corn starch from corn production, and organic Merino wool fibers, silky soft and 100% GOTS-certified cotton.

Kapok is a natural and organic natural fiber that grows wild in nature. The kapok fiber contains 80% air and is about 8 times lighter than cotton, which makes it one of the lightest natural fibers in the world and much more breathable than any other natural fiber that exists. The many supplementary fibers in Kapok make the fiber feel silky soft, which is why it is also called silk cotton.
The fiber's insulating effect means that it absorbs the surrounding air, which makes it incredibly temperature-regulating. This makes it usable in summer and winter, outdoors as well as indoors.
Kapok is 100% natural, and no pesticides or insecticides are used during production and processing. Therefore, kapok products are especially recommended for allergy sufferers as it contains a natural antibacterial bitter substance that makes it impossible for house dust mites to live in.
Kapok is a 100% natural and organic product, and like all other natural products, benefits from being hung out in the fresh air from time to time. However, it is not necessary to wash the product. If you want to wash your kapok product, it should be very necessary. If you can make do with spot cleaning with a cloth, that is absolutely best for the product. The product must not be soaked, as this will damage the product.
Due to Kapok's finer natural fibers, the product must be maintained continuously in a slightly different way than ordinary natural fiber products. At the same time, it is also a difficult product to dry. Cocoon therefore recommends using their wool dryer balls, as this will reduce the drying time, as well as help dry the product in the gentlest way and ensure that the kapok fiber does not clump together. Do NOT use tennis balls, as this may damage the fiber.

The corn fiber is a natural plant-based bioplastic fiber made from lactic acid, which is extracted from the plant sugar in the corn plant's starch during its fermentation process, and therefore contains only naturally biodegradable and recyclable raw materials.

The lovely and soft fabric used for Cocoon Amazing Maize is made from 100% organic GOTS-certified cotton to ensure the best quality cotton and guarantee that the cotton has not been near any chemicals throughout its creation – both for your sake and for nature's.
The corn fiber products are a natural alternative for children and adults with allergies, and for those who want to avoid allergenic products. The products have been given an allergy-friendly plant-based treatment of essential oil extracts from lemon, lavender and eucalyptus, which makes the fiber resistant to house dust mites.
Cocoon's corn fiber series, like all other bedding products, benefits from being aired regularly outside in the fresh air, thereby maintaining a healthy indoor climate, so it is not necessary to wash the products regularly. Should you need to wash your Amazing Maize product, it is recommended that you wash it with detergent from Sonett with pure organic olive oil soap, as this detergent best preserves the fiber's elasticity and softness. It is recommended that you then wash the product at low temperatures to protect the product as well as the environment.
The product should be tumble dried at low to medium heat to achieve the best result.
Cocoon Merino Wool is an organic series of exclusive sleep products made from the finest organic Merino wool from South American Merino sheep. The products are made from a silky soft and 100% GOTS-certified cotton fabric around a soft carding of untreated organic Merino wool fibers.
The Merino Wool duvets are produced in three different thicknesses, respectively 300, 500 and 700 grams/sqm. All the duvets are all-season duvets, due to the wool's fabulous temperature-regulating properties and the airy carding of the duvet.
The wool fiber is known for its fantastic properties, which make it particularly suitable under constantly changing weather conditions and the body's varying intensity levels, which also allow moisture to pass through.
The wool's good thermoregulating effect is further enhanced by its incredible breathability and ability to transport moisture away from the body, which helps keep the body and the wool fiber dry through the night.
The surface structure of the wool fiber also means that the fiber does not start to smell when you sweat in it, as the wool's natural content of lanolin on the surface of the fiber creates an antibacterial environment in which, among other things, house dust mites cannot live.
Cocoon recommends that the products be washed as little as possible, but that they be aired regularly, to maintain the airiness and lightness of the product.
In the event of minor accidents, rinse the product with slightly warm water, wring it out, and let it dry flat until the moisture has evaporated.
In emergencies, you should wash your wool duvet in the washing machine, but if major accidents happen, the wool products can be machine washed on a wool gentle program at 30 degrees and 800 revolutions with a wool soap containing lanolin.
Under no circumstances must the sleep product be tumble dried, but must lie flat to dry, preferably in a warmer room for faster drying.
