Cot
A cot is perfect for a child who has just outgrown the cradle. The cot is used from the time the child is no longer an infant and has started being able to sleep in their own bed. If you have problems with your child not wanting to sleep alone in the bed, it may be beneficial to buy a cot where you can remove some of the bars so that the child can leave the bed themselves.
From cradle to cot
Many mothers will often find that the transition from cradle to cot can be difficult, because when is the right time and how do you get your little one used to sleeping away from mum? The transition can be difficult - even enormously difficult. The only general answer that can be given is that you need to be persistent. By constantly trying and not choosing the often easy solution: Letting the child sleep between mum and dad, you will often find that it succeeds. In the long term, as a parent (and child), you will appreciate this much more. Persistence is therefore the best advice when it comes to the baby's move from cradle to cot.
