A changing table is a good purchase if you have a newborn. Although many can also make do with a washing machine, the table next to the sink or even the floor, a changing table is simply the best choice, as it allows you to have everything you need right at hand.
There are many different changing tables, and you will also find several models here, all of which are of good quality and contribute something different.
You may benefit from investigating which changing tables are suitable in combination with changing boards, if you are also considering investing in one.
It is entirely up to you whether you prefer a changing board or a changing mat for your changing area - however, it is highly recommended that you choose at least one of the options.
There is a wide range of changing boards - some of which are suitable and made for specific changing tables - and they are a really good investment. They frame the changing mat, so the child lies safely and securely and cannot roll down. They are easily secured using fittings, and can easily be removed again, so you do not need to discard the chest of drawers just because you no longer need to change the child.
Changing cushions have a really soft and water-repellent surface, making them incredibly easy to clean. They often have soft edges, so the child does not bump their head if they lie restlessly, and they also do not have the same opportunity to roll down.
A changing bag is also essential, as you cannot guarantee that you will always be at home when the child needs changing.
Changing bags come in many different models and designs. Whatever style you prefer, you can surely find a bag that suits your taste. Especially if you are a big fan of the popular Scandinavian style that many Danes love, it will not be a problem.
The bags are of good quality, and they are often incredibly spacious, so you can take everything with you.
There are also changing mats in bag form, so you always have a comfortable place for the child to lie. You can even find a changing mat that matches most bags.
Muslin cloths are something that was especially used in the old days, but you can actually still get great benefit from them today. Many people find that once they invest in them, they suddenly do not know how they managed without them.
On our website, you will find many different variants, all of equally good quality - it is simply a matter of your preferences.
You will find some in different colours, different patterns, and they are also available with prints, designs and in many different sizes.
A pacifier is considered a necessity in families with children. They help soothe children, and if children cannot get hold of one, they tend to use a thumb instead, and it is considerably more difficult to wean them off it again.
When the child is lying on the changing table, a pacifier can be a good idea, and you will find a large selection here on the page, all of good quality.
However, a pacifier is not always necessary when the child is lying on the changing table. Therefore, it can also be beneficial to keep a teething ring on hand that the child can lie and chew on while being changed.
A teething ring is good entertainment for the child, and a good way to teach the child that the pacifier is not always the answer.
A digital thermometer is one of those things that is simply nice to have on hand. It helps you determine whether baby has a fever, as they have difficulty expressing it themselves. It gives you the opportunity to feel more confident in the decisions you make.
As parents, it is easy to become worried if baby has the slightest problem, and it is considerably easier to reassure yourself - or let the doctor make a decision based on the symptoms you mention - if you know baby does not have a fever.
A nasal aspirator is also one of those things that is nice to have, as it allows you to ensure clear airways for the child without damaging the mucous membranes.
Especially during the time when the child is still breastfed, a nasal aspirator can help ensure that the child is able to close their mouth completely around the mother's breast.
You will also find several different nail sets on our website. Although both hands and feet are incredibly small, and the nails match in size, they still need care.
Nail scissors for children will often have a rounded tip, so you do not accidentally prick the child. This is an advantage, as children do not always lie still when asked to. The grip, on the other hand, is designed for adults, so you can get a good grip on the scissors.
Comb and brush are also absolutely essential - especially when the child gets a little older and perhaps has a little more hair on their head. However, a brush with soft bristles is a good idea for the child who does not yet have much hair on their head.
A brush with soft bristles is gentler on the child than plastic brushes, but can still comb through tangled hair without hurting.
