Dressers
Dressers
The changing area can just as well be stylish and well-arranged from the start, as you will change the little one thousands of times during diapering. During changing time, there is a real opportunity to have good and close quality time with your child, so it is silly to waste time searching confusedly for the things you need. By having everything gathered in a changing dresser, you can focus on what is important, namely the close contact with your baby.
When setting up the changing area, there are many things to consider. Where should the changing area be? In the bathroom or in the child's room? And is there room for a changing dresser, or is it better to choose a wall-mounted changing area? Regardless of what you choose and what is best according to your needs and options, it is important to have all the items needed for changing time within reach.
What do you need when the diaper needs to be changed?
When your child is lying on the changing pad, you need to keep an eye on them at all times, and therefore it is unwise if the items are located elsewhere than, for example, in a changing dresser. On the changing dresser, you will need a changing pad, a towel, and possibly cloth diapers. At the bottom the changing pad, then the towel, then the cloth diaper – the cloth diaper is changed at every diaper change, and you change the towel if the child pees through. You will also need diapers, washcloths, various creams, ointments, and wipes, changing clothes, a comb, and possibly a manicure set.
A changing dresser with multiple functions
Many changing dressers can also be used as a regular dresser when the diapering phase is over and the changing top is removed from the changing dresser. Then the dresser works perfectly as, for example, storage space for gloves and hats in the hallway, for socks and underwear in the bedroom, or something completely different. There are plenty of options with a changing dresser.
