For some, the playpen may seem almost like a punishment for the child. But it is far from that – in fact, quite the opposite. The playpen gives your child a safe and calm place, free from curious siblings and pets.

The base of Hoppekids IDA-MARIE can be raised and adjusted to three different heights. Besides protecting your back from awkward lifts, it also gives your child the opportunity to keep up a little with the world around them. Use the highest setting when the child is very small, then lower the base as he or she grows bigger and stronger.

For the IDA-MARIE playpen, you can purchase a Hoppekids playpen mattress. The mattress comes including a cotton cover. The mattress itself has a layer of foam and a layer of linen felt. The linen felt is a natural material that helps protect against draughts and cold, while providing a soft and comfortable base for the playpen. You may also use a play mat and decorate the playpen with cosy items.
