Why you should buy organic

It has hardly escaped anyone's attention that large parts of the world's textile production use toxic dyes and additives when materials for clothing, interiors and accessories are dyed and Finished. In the worst case, these substances, which are typically found in textiles manufactured and treated in Asia, can cause allergies and be carcinogenic. However, the thorough safety checks start much earlier. They must also be complied with before such certification can be obtained.

This means that the harvesting of the raw materials used for the production of the bedding is also approved and regularly checked for its labour standards and methods. The processing itself is also under strict control, with emphasis placed on production that is responsible towards both the environment and the people who produce the item and ensure that you can buy new bedding for your children.

Shades of grey are perfect for a neutral children's room, where you may have added more colour in other parts of the décor. Find the right size of junior bedding

All our junior bedding sets measure 140 x 100 cm for the duvets and 40 x 45 cm for the pillows. This makes it easy to buy bedding from us, because you can be sure that the sets always follow the common standard sizes in the industry. By comparison, ordinary bedding for adults is typically 200 x 140 cm.

Some of our stylish junior bedding sets also come with a matching fabric bag. This makes it easy to pack up the junior duvet and take it along for a sleepover. Of course, you can also simply use the fabric bag for Toys or shopping. It is good for the environment, and as a family you are always stylishly equipped to do the day's shopping.

Get the most out of your junior bedding

Washing bedding is almost an art in itself, but it is an art worth understanding.

There are several benefits to knowing how to wash your bedding. First and foremost, you extend the lifespan of your bedding. The fibres last better when washed at the correct temperature, while the colours and thus the patterns remain fresh for longer. This gives you better value for money.

Always wash your bedding with a mild detergent, preferably a fragrance-free version. However, you should avoid using fabric softener, as it reduces the absorbency of your bedding. Although it is not recommended to boil-wash bedding so as not to damage the fine structure, you should wash junior bedding at a minimum of 60 degrees. This is, among other things, to combat house dust mites, which are found in many Danish homes. Another good reason to wash at 60-70 degrees is that boil-washing at 90 degrees can wear out the bedding and cause it to shrink over time.

It is generally recommended to wash bedding and bed linen every other week. With small children, however, it may be necessary to wash the bedding more frequently. Remember to wash the bedding more often if you are allergic to house dust mites, which often hide in bedding.
