All our sets of junior bedding are in the sizes 140 x 100 cm for the duvets and 40 x 45 cm for the pillows. In comparison, regular bedding for adults is typically 200 x 140 cm large.

Get the most out of your junior bedding

Washing bedding is almost an art in itself, but it is an art worth understanding.

There are indeed several advantages to knowing how to wash your bedding. First and foremost, you extend the lifespan of your bedding. The fibers hold up better when washed at the correct temperature, while the colors and thus the patterns remain fresh for a longer time. Therefore, you get the most out of your money.

Always wash your bedding with et mild detergent, and preferably use a fragrance-free version. However, you should avoid using fabric softener, as it reduces the absorbency of your bedding. Although it is not recommended to boil wash bedding to avoid damaging the fine structure, you should wash junior bedding at least 60 degrees. This is partly to combat dust mites, which are found in many Danish homes. Another good reason to wash at 60-70 degrees is that boiling at 90 degrees can wear out the bedding and cause it to shrink over time.

It is generally recommended to wash bedding and sheets every two weeks. However, if there are children, it may be necessary to wash the bedding more frequently. Remember to wash the bedding more often if you have an allergy to dust mites, which often hide in the bedding.
