MiniMeis - The world's best carrier

MiniMeis was invented, developed and launched by three Norwegian fathers who set out to create the world's best carrier for babies and children. All parents know it - children inevitably always get tired legs when we're out and about. MiniMeis is an alternative to baby carriers, but one where we as parents have more freedom of movement, and the children have a much better view.

How old should the child be to use MiniMeis?

The MiniMeis carrier can be used by all children from approx. 6 months and until they weigh 18 kg. It is important that the child can hold their body up themselves, so they do not slump completely in the carrier. And as the child gets older and bigger, mum's or dad's shoulders may be the limiting factor, with a max. load of 18 kg. In terms of safety, MiniMeis has both a harness and straps that keep your size-appropriate child securely in place.

Carrying comfort for child and parents

Comfort for the parent is achieved by placing the child on the specially designed seat, suspended just above your shoulders. This relieves your neck and shoulders of direct pressure from the carrier and the child's weight. The child's weight is also evenly distributed throughout the carrier, enabling longer walks with great comfort for adult shoulders, but also for the little one, who can take in the whole world from higher up.

The child sits securely on your shoulders and is strapped in with a waist belt and leg straps. A harness with shoulder straps is also included to provide extra support for the upper body of the youngest children (6-10 months). The supportive backrest is designed to help the child sit upright while sitting in the carrier on your shoulders.
