When you are choosing the model you want, you should remember to ensure that the rocking horse is suitable for the age of the child who will be using it. We indeed have some models that are specifically suitable for very small children. Here, they have chosen to make the rocking horse with a bar/seatbelt that prevents the baby from falling off the rocking horse when rocking back and forth. This also means that larger children cannot sit in it.

Wooden rocking horses are an old classic. Rocking horses are really good for children from an early age. As soon as the child can sit in the rocking horse, it is a really good investment. Some of our rocking horses can be used by children from around 5-6 months, as these have bars that keep the child securely in the rocking horse and not 'sitting on top'.

If the child cannot stand/sit on their own, we recommend these rocking horses with bars. If the child can walk and sit, we recommend our rocking horses without bars, where the child sits on top of the rocking horse as if it were a real horse.
