The right design

As you can see, we have a great many rocking horses in our webshop. There are several reasons for this. Among other things, a rocking horse is one of the most classic toys there is. The first rocking horse preserved today was made in the year 1600. During the period from 1600 to the 1900s, it was most often royalty and the nobility who had a rocking horse. In the 1900s, saddlers began designing and producing their own wooden rocking horses, and today they are available in thousands of models, colours and sizes.

The idea behind the rocking horse is that the child should be able to rock themselves back and forth. In our webshop, you will find a wealth of different models. When choosing the model you want, remember to make sure that the rocking horse is suitable for the age of the child who will use it. We have certain models that are particularly suitable for very young children. These rocking horses are made with a safety bar/harness that prevents the baby from falling off when rocking back and forth. Naturally, this also means that older children cannot sit in it.

It is therefore important to check the rocking horse you buy – we have stated the recommended age and the maximum weight each rocking horse can withstand. However, if you have questions or comments about these recommendations or your choice of rocking horse, please do not hesitate to contact us. You will find our email address and telephone number here on our website.

If you cannot quite decide, we would be very happy to help you! Call or write to us – we are ready to help you.

Wooden rocking horses are an old classic. Rocking horses are very good for children from an early age. As soon as the child can sit in the rocking horse by themselves, one is a very good investment. Some of our rocking horses can be used by children from around 5-6 months, as they have safety bars that keep the child securely seated in the rocking horse rather than 'sitting on top'.

If the child cannot stand/sit by themselves, we recommend these rocking horses with safety bars. If the child can walk and sit by themselves, we recommend our rocking horses without safety bars, where the child sits on top of the rocking horse as if it were a real horse. We have wooden rocking horses made in a unique and cute design. You will find all the exciting products on the page right here, where we strive to have them all in stock.

However, it may happen that we run out of stock of certain rocking horses, but we always strive to have a good quantity ready to ship from our warehouse in Odense. If you have questions about one of the products here in the category, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are ready to help and advise you so that you find exactly the right item.
