Wooden Puzzle Age
A good starting point for choosing the right puzzle is to consider the child's age – after that, you can choose among the different types and motifs that fit what you are looking for.
Wooden Puzzles for 1 Year
From the time your child is 1 year old, development is already in full swing, and even though their fingers are still small, they can probably already grasp everything that comes within reach. Therefore, knob puzzles are great for children from 1 year. The small knobs make them easy to hold, and they are often designed to make it easy to place the pieces correctly. It is a good exercise for fine motor skills, just like much other wooden toys.
Wooden puzzles 2 years
Perhaps there are already clear interests in your child, and their motor skills are ready for even greater challenges. Many at this age are also fond of instruments and building blocks. In terms of wooden puzzles, you can start looking for puzzles with a bit more challenge. This could be more pieces, puzzles with more options, or knob puzzles where the cutouts of the pieces are small and precise, making them harder to place correctly.
Wooden puzzles 3 years
They grow up so quickly. Perhaps they are already busy building the big play kitchen or workshop at home. But hard activities like that can require more calm activities, and here wooden puzzles are just perfect. At this age, wooden puzzles with numbers and letters are popular because they provide the opportunity to become familiar with numbers and letters in a well-known and fun way.
