As we usually say at Mammashop, changing time equals cozy time. However, it should not be forgotten that during the child's first 3 years, you change diapers more than 5,000 times. Therefore, it is important to remember that it is also a workstation and should be practical.
Storage
Here, storage is absolutely essential! For this reason, it can be smart to combine the changing pad and storage in one. This can be done with, for example, a changing pad for the dresser you already have or a dedicated changing dresser. However, it can also have its advantages to choose a wall-mounted changing table if space is limited.

Changing Pad
A must-have is also a changing pad. It is important that the baby lies comfortably while being changed. Not only should comfort be in order, but the material is also important to focus on. It is definitely preferable to have a coated surface, as it is much easier to clean.
Cleaning
When we are on the subject of cleaning, it is important to keep in mind that the changing station is where the diapers are changed. Therefore, it is a must to have tools at hand to quickly fix any minor accidents your baby might have. For this purpose, a head/foot basin is invaluable, along with, of course, washcloths. Also, a soft baby towel or a cloth diaper will be very useful to have at the changing station. This way, you always have the option to quickly wrap the baby in a soft cover.
Decorate
As mentioned, the changing station is a place where you will spend a lot of time during the baby's early life. Therefore, while not necessarily a must, it can be nice to decorate the changing area. Not least to give your child something exciting to look at. You can do this, for example, by hanging up a mobile to add a bit of life.
