With little newcomers to the world in your arms, it is important to ensure they are kept warm at all times. Little heads give off quite a lot of heat, and they cannot regulate their own temperature or tell you if they are cold. 

I learned, when my first child was a baby, that little ones should wear a hat/sleep with a hat on during all months containing an 'r'. That is, only May, June, July and August are exempt. Still, keep an eye on May, as it can be unpredictable.

Disana's knitted wool hat protects baby's sensitive head and gently wraps it in warm, soft organic merino wool.

The special cut and extra fine flat seams ensure that nothing pinches or feels uncomfortable, even when baby is lying down.

Two wide, flexible knitted ties also prevent the hat from slipping.

Washing instructions

We recommend washing Disana wool items by hand. This is best done in the sink, in cold water, with Disana wool shampoo. Never wring or rub the products, simply press gently through them. Then rinse at the same water temperature and gently squeeze out the water.

If you prefer machine washing, use the wool wash programme, cold and without spinning or only at a maximum of 400 rpm. However, machine washing wool is always at your own risk.

Tip!

If you have stains on the wool product, gall soap is by far the best solution.

Stains from stool can also be bleached by placing your wool product in the sun.

Before use, or occasionally for a little extra care, it is also highly recommended to give the diaper covers a lanolin treatment.

Lanolin protects the wool, enhances the water-repellent effect and has antibacterial properties.
