Nordic Swan Ecolabel baby bed with mattress from Danish Hoppekids.

The bed has flat bars, and the base can be placed at two different levels. Use the highest one when the baby is very small, and lower the base as the little one's eyesight grows. This way, you spare your back from stupid lifts, while your child cannot crawl out of the bed by themselves.

When the bed is no longer needed as a sleeping space, you can remove one side to convert it into a smart bench. The side is placed under the bed base and thus becomes a practical shelf for extra storage. The bench can of course always be converted back into a bed!

What does it mean that The bed is Nordic Swan Ecolabeled?

ANTON is Nordic Swan Ecolabel. This means, among other things, that there are strict requirements for the product in all its life phases - from the material the bed is made of, to surface treatment, safety, durability - and indeed all the way to how easy it is for you as a consumer to dispose of the product again.

The bed is made of pine wood and the surface is treated with water-based lacquer. It is therefore safe for the family's smallest to "taste" the bed.

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel ECO mattress in size 120x9x60cm from Hoppekids is an allergy-friendly quality mattress. The mattress has a soft surface and et shape-retaining interior, ensuring your child maximum lying comfort and a good night's sleep.

The mattress core is produced in Waterlily® foam. Waterlily® foam is et high-quality product that provides a springy, soft, and comfortable feel, which is even better than cold foam. The structure allows air to easily move through the material and ensures that heat and moisture do not build up on the surface. Waterlily is et durable material that considers safety, health, and environmental aspects throughout the product's lifespan. Waterlily retains its shape, thereby providing lasting comfort properties. The mattress core is flame-retardant without the use of additives.

The mattress is certified with Nordic Swan Ecolabel. This means that the product meets strict requirements regarding environmental et, health, quality, and safety – throughout the product's life cycle. Nordic Swan Ecolabel is the official environmental label across the Nordic countries. That it is official means it has the support of the authorities. The requirements for certification are constantly tightened to promote sustainable development.

The mattress comes with et mattress cover made of soft bamboo fibers on the outside with quilted thermould, which wicks moisture and heat away from the body.

The cover has a zipper on 3 sides, making it easy and quick to put on.

According to the safety standard DS/EN 16890:2017, the hanger on the zipper of the mattress cover has been removed, so it is not possible for et child to open the mattress cover. The cover can be opened for washing by inserting a paperclip into the zipper.
