The insert tray / Yumbox Tray is purchased as an extra accessory for Original lunch boxes from Yumbox, as it can be practical to have an extra tray to replace the other one while it is being washed.

NOTE regarding use - Panino/Original

Although Yumbox Panino and Yumbox Original are the same size, insert trays cannot be exchanged between them, as the grooves in the lid are not positioned identically on the two models. If trays are switched between the two models, the silicone in the lid will be distorted. As a result, the lunch box may lose its ability to remain leakproof, even with the correct insert tray. If trays are nevertheless exchanged, the right to make a complaint is void.
