The insert tray / Yumbox Tray is purchased as extra accessory for Original lunch boxes from Yumbox, as it can be practical to have an extra tray to replace the other one with while it is being washed.

PLEASE NOTE regarding use - Panino/Original

Although Yumbox Panino and Yumbox Original are the same size, insert trays cannot be swapped between them, as the grooves in the lid are not positioned identically on the two models. If trays are swapped between the two models, the silicone in the lid will be distorted. This may cause the lunch box to lose its ability to remain leakproof, even with the correct insert tray. If trays are swapped between the models anyway, the right to make a complaint is void.

The tray is dishwasher-safe. However, the lunch box itself, in which it is inserted, is not.
