The insert tray / Yumbox Tray is purchased as an extra accessory for Original lunch boxes from Yumbox, as it can be practical to have an extra tray to swap with while the other is being washed.

NOTE regarding use - Panino/Original

Although Yumbox Panino and Yumbox Original are the same size, the insert trays cannot be swapped between them, as the grooves in the lid do not align uniformly on the two models. If trays are swapped between the two models, the silicone in the lid will be manipulated out of shape. This can cause the lunchbox to lose its ability to seal tightly, even with the correct insert tray. If trays are swapped regardless, the right to complain is void.
