In April, Mammashop launched the new concept Mamma-test, where different families are allowed to test a selected product from the webshop.
The first product we asked for help to test and review is the Danamic safety gate from BabyDan, which is suitable for use in front of a staircase or door.
We have selected two test families.
The first family to review the gate is the Engberg Brinch family from Ribe, who live in a 3-story house with many stairs. Perhaps you have already read their review in a previous post, otherwise you can read it here.
The last review, which is yet to be published on the blog, and which you are currently reading, is written by the Jensen family from Nørre Snede in Midtjylland.
The family lives in a large house with a garden and has a small four-legged friend who finds the newest addition to the family, who is half a year old, exciting – especially when the little one needs to sleep peacefully. The gate has been a great help in this.

I have been lucky enough to test a door gate from BabyDan.
I have a son born in February 2015, and we needed a gate to keep our dog a little away from our son, so he can lie alone on the sofa.
The gate has worked perfectly for that purpose and has helped us from the day we received and installed it :)
In this summer heat, where the terrace door can be left open, the gate also helps us keep the dog inside when our son is standing and sleeping outside in the stroller, so she doesn't wake him.
Overall, the gate works super well. However, it is a slight downside that I have to move the gate every time I need to drive our stroller in and out of the terrace door because the gate's opening is too narrow.
Still, it is definitely a gate that I would recommend to friends, family, and acquaintances :)

Note! The Danamic safety gate from BabyDan, which the Jensen family has tested, is no longer available on the webshop. It is now sold in a newer version under the name Premier, where you get all the best from the classic model with new good features.
